NatuRose® is a natural source of astaxanthin, derived from a unique strain of the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis — an algae first studied two hundred years ago by the scientist Girod Chantrans.

NatuRose Natural Astaxanthin has been carefully formulated into a fine, free flowing dark red powder and is used as a pigment, nutrition source and to improve the health of aquatic animals, birds, horses, pigs and companion animals.

The microalgae, Haematococcus, is carefully cultivated as part of Cyanotech's proprietary system known as PhytoDome CCS™. The production system utilizes a combination of controlled, closed and open culture environments to produce NatuRose — a consistent, high quality source of natural astaxanthin.

The NatuRose production process enables algae cell walls to be cracked while maintaining carotenoid stability. This proprietary process increases the bioavailability of NatuRose Natural Astaxanthin and leads to higher uptake and coloration.

All NatuRose Natural Astaxanthin is produced in the pristine environment of Kona, Hawaii — where the ambient climate and pure water lead to year-round cultivation of our astaxanthin-rich microalgae.
